LIFE~
Family,college,friends,...tough life dude! In this buzzing life of ours, there comes a phase where the need for independance arises... We feel ready to break out of our cacoons...But at the same time our parents feel that our so called LiFe is taking us away from their lives....
They feel hurt n neglected...
Neither they are wrong (atleast they deserve a bit of our precious time... for all the years of their life which they gave to us)..... nor are we at fault!!!
It's just the phenomenon of life where with each passing year...a new fountain of emotions bursts htrough our souls...be it freedom,love,need for comfort etc etc...
What they are going through today...we might face the same thing tomorrow...dont know if we would ever be able to understand this vicious circle of life...!!!
Am not a poetess by nature but still i've tried to pen down a part of my never ending thoughts in this poem... hope you will like it. :)
MY LIFE
Years ago...
I came into this world..
crying and wailing
still bringing smile to their faces
They thought an angel was born
didn't know she would leave them so torn
Attending to my chores seemed dear to them
they always held me near to them
My little pranks made them smile
they would carry me on their shoulder for miles :)
Years later....
I'm grown....
i don't always like to b shown
what to do n what not to...
Free like a bird,i want to fly
up so high in the sky
They still love me,
they still care for me...
then why is our world drifting apart
with no end and no start...
Is it my urge to fly so high
that makes my parents sigh
with the fear that my feelings might bend
But don't worry ma n pa
i love you n always will
till this life shows me my end :)
